So I have invested in a Smashbox contour kit and I can honestly say I love it!!!
This one retails at £35 and I purchased mine at Boots in the UK but it can be also be bought on Amazon.

This kit is amazing as it has a contour colour, a bronzer and a highlighter. It also comes with instructions on the back of the box and a leaflet inside with instructions on how to contour for your specific face shape and it also includes a brush. The brush is really good as it is small and therefore more precise, however I know there are brushes which could probably produce better results but it does need to be a small angled brush but its up to you whether to invest in that as well. I personally prefer natural hair brushes however they are more expensive and some synthetic ones can be just as good.

The tones in this kit are very natural and not too dark, however the more you apply the darker the colour becomes which means its also great if you have a darker skin tone. The colours also blend easily so you don't have to fight with any dark lines!

Although it's expensive I do think it is worth it although it may take some practice to be able to get the best look for you and to be able to do more quickly. The leaflet inside really helps with that.

Before contouring always apply a full coverage of foundation so that you have an even skin tone and a base for the powder.

If you have any questions about this product just leave a comment below and let me know what you think, here is a photo of my one with the brush! X

Here is a video of my friend Beth having this kit tried out on her by a makeup artist. A great tip she gave was not to make the contour line on your cheeks too straight as I find it looks a lot less natural and can make your face look too angled.
(I'm sorry if it doest work on mobile, I might need to change the formatting!)

I'm always trying to find better skin care routines as I tend to get dry uneven skin if i don't look after it. I so wish I was one of those people with effortlessly perfect skin but i've got to work with what i've got and when I do the results can be just as good.
On a regular weeknight when I don't have much time or energy to pamper myself but still need to take my makeup off and moisturise my skin this is my go-to product.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
This is such a simple product without a long list of ingredients. It doesn't have any perfume in it either and it is hypoallergenic. It removes makeup quickly and easily on a cotton pad. I prefer this product so much to makeup wipes as it cleanses and soothes your skin so it is a great substitute when you don't have time to exfoliate or scrub your skin. It also helps to retain your skins natural moisture as it does not kill off your skins natural oils with harsh chemicals as many other makeup removers do.

I use the cleansing water most evenings to take my makeup off. I am also a big fan of cheap and simple moisturisers for the face as I don't like using body cream as the face is a much more sensitive area and needs much lighter ingredients. Also I like to get a different type of face cream every time I finish mine so that my skin doesn't get to used to it. This time I have chosen two combination creams.

Garnier Moisture Nourish and Moisture Protect
Both of these products have very little perfume and smell extremely natural. The Moisture Nourish cream is a lot thicker and adds a lot more moisture to the skin so I use that one in the evening and apply it all over my face and neck. It has a very light floral scent. It has camellia oil in it however it is not greasy and absorbs into the skin quickly.
The moisture protect one is a lot thinner and lighter, I like to use this one as soon as I wake up so my skin is refreshed by the time I start applying my makeup. It says it has lemon extract in it but I think it smells like fresh cucumber.

If you have tried any of these let me know what you thought and  what your favorite drug store go-to facial products are!

Love from emz! X

When Dollywood Boutique posted that they had released this new limited edition, apparently painless, Powerhouse Lip Voltage Lip Plumper I could not resist. I had tried my friend Beth's original version of the lip gloss and it was extremely painful and did not seem to make any noticeable difference. The original one has now been reduced to £15 and the new Powerhouse is £25.

As it claimed to be painless I opened it up and piled it onto my lips only to discover that the "painless" promise is completely not true. It REALLY BURNS. It pretty much as painful as the original but perhaps a bit less, I think you can actually get used to the feeling as the second time I tried it it was a lot better. Anyway I tried to focus on the results and waited out the pain. One good thing I can tell you about this product is that it works. My lips looked and felt huge! One thing I would really suggest though is to wipe it off and apply powder and balm once you have achieved your results as the gloss makes your lips extremely red and sore looking. This gloss also seems to smell of peppermint, however the smell is so strong that it seems to smell more of menthol.
Here are my before and after pictures taken around 7 minutes apart, I have to mention though that the results only seem to last around an hour and to make the product work better you need to massage it into your lips

Today I thought I would share with you my little miracle product, Lee Stafford's treatment for hair that never grows past a certain length. Before I tell you more about this product I want to assure you that I have not been paid to say any of this and that I am writing my genuine opinions.
So as I have blonde hair and I am currently growing my roots out I decided it would be easy to see whether this product works or not depending on the length of my roots. I have tried SO many conditioning treatments to make my hair ticker/longer/healthier in the past when I had first started dying it and nothing really amazed me enough to make me buy it again.
A few weeks ago I came across this in boots and the name of it basically screamed my name as my hair has been the same length for around 3 years with or without cutting it.
I bought it for just over £8 and started using it every time I washed my hair. After just over 2 weeks of using it I noticed quite a big difference, even my mum commented on the length of my roots before I had said anything.
I don't know how it works but it does and it also improves the overall look and feel of your hair and I have notice my ends have started breaking off a lot less!
The directions say to use this between your shampoo and conditioner however if your hair is not that damaged and you simply want it to grow it can just be used as a conditioner.
You need to leave it on for 5 minutes. I tend to put quite a lot on (I need to order a new tub soon) and then massage it into my scalp and put it in a bun while a wash myself. If I have more time I try to leave it on for as long as possible. It also smells sooooo good which makes leaving it on less annoying.
I will most definitely be buying this product again and probably for a long time!

So most people who know me know that i am very very rarely seen without any eyeliner on. Its just as important as mascara to me and I hate being without it!
My obsession has led me to try a lot of different eyeliners. Especially cheap ones.
As I usually do winged eyeliner, I need an eyeliner that is qute runny with a very thin brush.
The eyeliner that I think is perfect for winged liner is the basic Topshop Liner. I discovered this one not long ago when I was in desperate need of eyeliner and I was ordering from topshop online so I just added it to the bag and boy am I glad I did. For the amazing price of £7 I did not expect it to be that great but it couldn't have surprised me more.
It lasts extremely long and does not crack or flake off. Its very black and keeps a shiny just applied look. The brush is very thin which makes is very easy to apply a thin black line and to also build on it for a thicker look, it is also extremely good for precision.

The next liner I am going to recommend is the Smokey Effect Ultra Black liner by Bourjois Paris. At £5.49 this is definitely a bargain.
It also lasts very long and can be worn as basic eyeliner or smudged out for a smokey eye look or eyeshadow effect. This liner is great if you don't want t to go for such a bold lined eye look as you can just smudge out the line for a darker shadow around the eyelid.
As this pencil is really soft it is important to use a proper sharpener for it so I also went for a Bourjois one just to be safe.

My next recommendation is back to liquid liner. Its the Isadora Colourful Eyeliner in Black (10). I bought this back home for £35 Lithuanian Litas which over there is a lot for an eyeliner so I was shocked to find out it is approximately £8 in the UK. Although it is a lot more expensive than most other drug store liners it is definitely cheap considering how good it is. It is even more long lasting than the Topshop one  except the brush is a lot thicker so its not as easy for create a thin wing, however it is great for thicker lines.

The next one is probably one of the cheapest well working ones out there at £3.99, it is the Seventeen Lacquer Liner - Wet Look Finish
This one lasts long and does not chip or flake. It doesn't deal too well with being layered up though as thats when it starts to crack! It also will crack if you rub it accidentally however I think for that price that it does work very well. The only other thing is that due to the brush being made from individual bristles, it does tend to lose its shape and make it much harder to achieve precision.

My next recommendation is the Waterproof Fast Stroke Eyeliner by Collection 2000.
At 2.99 it is good as a regular liner, it does stay on however if it gets wet it will smudge. The brush is precise which makes it easy to apply and the colour is very dark. I would recommend this as a regular liner more than a waterproof one as if you're planning on going swimming chances are you'll end up looking like a panda.

And my final recommendation is..... the Waterproof Gel Liner by Rimmel London.
At £6.49 this is also definitely a bargain. Its easy to apply, matte black and once its on its on, no need to worry about it coming off. It might not always last as long as some of the liquid liners however when it fades it won't fall off or leave cracks it'll just get a bit lighter without leaving you looking like you've rubbed your eyes. This one is also great as it can be used for a less intense look and can be smudged out before its dry. Its also great to wear with eyeshadow due to its matte look.

So you can probably already tell that I LOVE Soap & Glory. I have tried so many of their products and I thought that they deserve a review. There are far too many to cover in one post so i've chosen my two favourite products that I use on a daily basis and would highly recommend to everyone.

The first one is the Sugar Crush Body Scrub. I love this product because it is made with real sea salt which I always sprinkle in my bath but this is a great way to wash yourself with sea salt when you don't have time to run a bath. Sea salts are beneficial for the skin as they are full of minerals which help to balance the skins moisture and they also help to open up and clear out pores which is why I like to wash my makeup off with this scrub. This scrub also contains many different oils, brown sugar and macadamia grains.

Another thing I love about this product is that it smells AMAZING. It literally smells like sherbet sweets.

Retail price: £8

My second favourite product by Soap & Glory is The Righteous Butter. This is a thick creamy moisturiser for very dry skin. It has shea butter and aloe vera in it. I have also tried the sugar crush body butter cream and that one is a lot thinner and lighter than this one but as with all their products it smells amazing. Another one I have tried is the Ultra Nourishing Fruity Liquid Moisture Lotion. This one comes in a pump and is again a lot lighter. Although it has more oils in it I do not find it as moisturising as the Righteous butter and it definitely does not smell as good.
One thing about all of these products is, if you have very irritable skin the moisturisers may not be good for you as they are packed with perfume! Although they smell amazing, the scents are extremely strong.

Retail Price: £10.50

All these opinions are my own. Let me know about any other skin and shower products you would recommend!
Lots of love

Today I thought I'd do a review of my favorite blusher ever, Milani Baked Blush No.5.

This blush costs $8.49 which is around £5.60 which I think is super cheap considering how good it is. It can shape, contour and highlight your face. It's an amazing natural, slightly sparkly peach colour which blends amazingly giving a very natural tone and a slight glow. I'd actually say that Luminoso is quite similar to Luster by NARS.
The more you use the darker it gets so I like to put more under my cheekbones and at the sides of my face and just a light layer on my cheekbones. Since this blush is baked it will be much lighter on your skin so you do not need to worry about your skin appearing powdery or oily. This product is especially good for people with oily skin or anyone who uses foundation with more moisture in it. This product also gives amazing pigmentation and is great for everyday use. X
