FOUNDATIONS FOR PHOTOSHOPPED SKIN

I've narrowed down my favourite foundations to my top four that I want to share with you. They are slightly more pricey so I might do another post on drugstore alternatives in a few weeks.

My first favourite is  Mineralize Moisture Foundation by MAC in the shade Bien Agiter. I love this foundation as it is especially great for people with dryer skin so if you have an oilier complexion I would not recommend this foundation. It is fragrance free and has SPF 15 in it. It gives amazing even and glowing coverage leaving your skin looking healthy and natural. This one retails at £28 ($41) which I think is a reasonable price as mine has lasted me an extremely long time.

My next favourite is Capture Totale Triple Correcting Serum Foundation by Dior shade 023. This one is much more pricey at £62 ($92) which is why I save this one for special occasions as opposed to the Mac one which I use everyday. I can really see why they've made this one so expensive, apart from its designer brand, it really is amazing. It gives an airbrushed effect and stays put for ages. This one is also great for all skin types so if you're thinking about investing in an extremely high end foundation, I recommend this one!

Thirdly I would like to recommend the Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup by Estèe Lauder in shade 2N1,Desert Beige. This one retails at £29 ($43) which I also think is reasonable as it really does stay in place and give amazing coverage, however simply washing it off in the shower won't make it come off  so you will most likely need to use a facial scrub to get it all of properly. This one is just as good as the Mac one if not better as it works for all skin types                   .

My final, and cheapest, recommendation is the Stay Perfect Foundation by No7 in shade 122, beige. This one retails at £14.50 ($21) and is amazing for the price. Like the rest, it comes in a glass bottle and only a small amount is needed to cover a large area. It is also hypo-allegenic which I like a lot as it means it has less unnecessary chemicals in it! This is a much lighter foundation and is almost invisible when blended in. It does not give a powdery or cakey effect whatsoever.

Let me know what your favourite foundations are or if you have tried any of these, what you thought of them!
