This month I thought I would try out some new makeup products and as I've been using the same products for a while I wanted to get some completely different ones that I haven't tried before.
I get way too exited when I have finally have money to spend on new products and these are the ones I went for.

I love the St.Tropez tanning products so I really wanted to try out their bronzer to see if it was just as good and oh boy it is! It is extremely pigmented so only the tiniest amount on your brush is needed. The packaging is slick and gorgeous and this product retails at around £20. I think if you're looking to invest in a good bronzer that will last you a while then this one is perfect.

The next product I purchased was this pure pigment metallic eyeshadow by Illamasqua.
As I am going back for my school prom next month (I went to uni a year early because I hated school) I have been thinking about what eye makeup I am going to wear. After seeing how beautiful this colour is I just had to get it, I think it will be perfect for a bold yet classy evening look. This product retails at around £16 and I think I may have just found the perfect prom eyeshadow.

As I am one of the most indecisive people in the world I am still not completely sure as to whether I am going to go for a gold or silver eye look so I purchased for both. As silver is quite versatile it looks great during the day as well so I don't feel as bad knowing it won't go to waste as I will have plenty of chances to wear it.
This is a super thick cream eyeshadow by New CID cosmetics. It can be applied lightly for a slight glittery look or it can be layered up and used to create a darker smokey look. This retails at around £15 and I absolutely love it.

Here are the swatches for the two eyeliners in the first photo. They are both by by Bourjois and the metallic gold one is called Liner Feutre and it goes perfectly with the Illamasqua eye shadow.
The second black one is called Intuitive Liner and it is one of the fanciest eyeliners I have ever used as it has three ends to it so if you draw with it on its side it creates 3 perfect black lines all next to each other. This can definitely be used to create some unique looks. It can also be used holding it the other way around to just create one straight line which is really useful. It can also be used to create 3 perfect dots at the end of your wing which I think is really cute.

Hope you're all having a great day and enjoy this post! If you leave me a comment be sure to leave your link too so I can check out your lovely blogs!

Lots of love x

I am absolutely loving this beach cover up that Blue Vanilla sent me! They are a super cute online fashion store and I had so much fun photographing with my friend today (credits to Beth Alexander for the amazing photography).
Although I had to bare the cold here in Scotland I am amazed at how nice the weather looks in these photos considering it was raining and extremely windy. We had agreed to go shopping for our friend's birthday afterwards so I had to embrace the messy hair look in public which I am not at all brave about doing!

I don't think I will be getting many chances to show off this cover up here in Scotland this summer however I cannot wait to wear it in Cyprus next month! It looks amazing over a brightly coloured bikini as well as a black one and it has a tightening string around the waistline to make it more flattering. It is perfect to throw on for walks between the beach and the hotel.

A link to buy this cover up is here
and a link to the stores main page is here
I hope everyone enjoys this post and has a lovely day. I would love to read your opinions so leave a comment for me so I can check out your lovely blogs too!

Today I thought I would tell you all about my current favourite hair care products as I haven't made a post about hair care before and I am currently loving a certain six products.

I was quite a reckless 14 year old and died my hair from red to black to brown to blonde to white then back to blonde. I had been bleaching my roots a few times a year for almost 4 years up until this year when I decided to grow my roots out and get them highlighted rather than completely bleached. I have always put a lot of effort into caring for my hair to make sure it didn't end up frazzled and therefore cut really sort due to the bleaching and I am so happy that my efforts pay off as my hair is in good condition and is quite long and thick considering how light it is.
So for those of you thinking about going blonde it can be done with minimal damage, it just needs to be done gradually and with a lot of hair care!
The time I spend looking after my hair has led to me trying SO many hair products so the ones that I use are always changing as I am always looking for something better but above are my current favourites.

I'll start with shampoo as I barely buy the same shampoo twice in a row and so far this one has been one of my all time favourites. There is a whole range of these shampoos and conditioners in Boots at the moment and I really want to try more from the range as these two have been amazing. They have coconut oil in them and are silicone free yet manage to leave my hair weightless and grease free! They are quite pricey at £6.99 per bottle but they last a lot longer than they seem like they will so I definitely recommend these.

I know that many people who are lightening their hair will be considering using silver shampoo, please don't use it! I talk from experience when I say that it dries out your hair and makes it extremely brittle. It has toner in it so using it daily is a lot more damaging than just keeping an actual toner on your hair for 20 minutes then deeply conditioning. I really recommend using less harsh shampoos and conditioners as washing your hair alone makes it drier.

This next product is the one hair care product that I have been re-buying for years. It is this pure Moroccan oil.  There are literally hundreds of versions of this product on the market however almost all of them have so many unnecessary chemicals added to them to dilute the oil. There are also so many fakes on the market that have been diluted or perfumed to smell like the real thing. This is the pure natural oil from Israel and I will add a link to where I buy mine. The natural unprocessed oil will have a really strong scent and will be very thick and greasy almost like olive oil. Only a tiny amount is needed on the ends of your hair to stop them breaking and to make your hair super soft. You can also use a lot more and put it all over your hair and roots and leave it on overnight for a an amazing natural hair treatment. It also smells so good.

Next on my list just now is the Professional Sebastian Halo Mist Weightless Shine Spray. I love this product in summer because it gives UV protection which stops the tone of my blonde hair from being lost due to the sun. It also makes hair super shiny and soft and is great for applying nearer your roots as well as unlike the oil it does not add grease. Literally only two sprays of this is more than enough so this product really does last for months and months! This retails at around £15 depending where you buy it from but I had first discovered it at a hair salon I used to visit and loved it.

Next I am currently using Nourish my shine by VO5. This is just a simple leave in conditioner that is packed full of oils and makes hair so much easier to brush out after washing. At around £4 per bottle I think it's a great buy and would definitely recommend it for all hair types as brushing out tuggy wet hair can cause a lot of breakage for anyone so just adding a few sprays of this stuff will help to prevent that.

My final favourite product is great for hair and skin and it is basically just organic coconut oil. This is so thick its basically crushed up coconut. I love to put this all over my hair for overnight treatments as often as I can. I also put it on my hair and skin at the same time as it smells delicious and is super moisturinsing. It takes a bit longer to wash out so I avoid using it when I know I'm going to be in a rush the next morning.

I hope you feel inspired and are having a great day. A link to buy the Moroccan oil is here
Let me know what your favourite hair products are and leave me any links to your hair care posts as I would love to read them all!

So I bought another pair of sunglasses from Topshop and these are a lot more coachella than the previous cat eye pair that I bought. As some of you may already know I LOVE coachella fashion and I felt like these would go a lot better with a lot of my outfits. I had made a post about the cat eye pair in the third picture last month so if you like them then check it out! I think these ones are perfect for more vintage laid back looks whereas the cat eye ones are more sophisticated.
A link to buy these sunnies is here

I hope you're all having a lovely day or night! I'm really hoping Scotland gets sunny again soon so I can show off these stunning glasses!!

Lots of love hunnies! x

I am so excited to finally make this post on the haul I did around 2 weeks ago. I wanted to wait until I had tried out all of the products before I wrote about them so here we are! My Body Shop haul.
The Body shop has got to be one of my all time favourite stores due to the minimal amount of chemicals they use in all of their products. I always seem to know exactly what I want straight away when I go and this time I decided to get their Vitamin E Sorbet facial cream, body cream and eyes cube, the Elderflower Eye Gel, Coconut Hand Cream, strawberry shower gel and perfume.

The mini red perfume bottle is tiny but lasts SO long. The scent is so concentrated that you only need a tiny amount and it smells so much like real strawberries. The size of the bottle makes it so convenient to carry in your handbag everyday as well.

The Coconut Hand Cream is one of the most amazing smelling products I have ever owned. The smell reminds me of warm tropical countries and holidays. Its thick but absorbs almost instantly without leaving your hands slippy or greasy.

This Vitamin E Sorbet is the body version of the facial cream in the first photo. Both of these are really light 24 hour moisturisers with little particles in them which release moisture throughout the day. I am a massive fan of the their strawberry range and these leave my skin smelling AMAZING. They are not greasy whatsoever and the facial cream is so cooling and you can also keep it in the fridge too!

Okay so I may or may not have just bought this shower gel because of its scent but either way its perfect for my dryer skin as it is soap free and has cold pressed strawberry seed oil. This means that the seeds were not heat treated and did not have any of their goodness burnt out. Using this along with the body sorbet above leaves my skin smelling delicious.

This Eye Cube is super handy, it is a cooling Vitamin E moisturiser and a highlighter fused into one! It is perfect for brightening up the under eye areas. Its around the size of my thumb which makes it perfect for carrying around.

Finally I bought this Elderflower Eye Gel. This has no perfume in it and is water based. It is so cooling and perfect for getting rid of dark circles and fine tired lines around the eye area, it feels a bit like you've had cold cucumber slices on your eyes after using it! Its best to keep this one in the fridge or at least out of sunlight and away from any heaters so that it can work its best.

I hope you have a wonderful day and feel inspired for your next Body Shop trip!

One more uni exam left to go wooo! I can't wait to have the time to blog so much more often. Today I wanted to write about these two amazing products by Victoria's Secret. My best friend brought these back as a gift from her home country Sweden and I have been using them everyday since.
The fragrance mist is in the scent Pink Lotus and Sultry Woods. This retails at $13 and it is the perfect body spray for everyday use. It's not too strong and the scent does not wear off quickly, I always have it in my handbag.
The body lotion is in the scent Juicy Currant and it retails for approximately $27. I love this product because it is extremely moisturising and has such a strong fruity scent that lasts, it is basically a moisturiser and perfume fused into one product. I also have extremely sensitive skin and found that even with the perfume this product still worked amazingly all over my body and face and did not cause any irritation.

Let me know what your favorite Victoria's Secret products are!

SPRING no. 2

Today I had my first exam for criminal law and I think it went quiet well, well i'm hoping it did anyway, afterwards it was so warm and sunny outside and as the exam finished at 11am me and my friend decided to take a walk around our beautiful campus to relax before getting back into studying. On my way home in the town centre a man was sculpting a dog out of sand and it was one of the most amazing works of art that I had ever seen.
The top and the jeans I am wearing are from Topshop!

I hope the weather is as lovely where you are as it is here today! Leave me a comment with a link to any of your spring posts, I would really love to read them.

So last month I attended my courses annual law ball and it was so much fun. It was basically a posh dinner that turned into a crazy night of drunken dancing. My friends and I had been waiting for it since the first day we were told about it back in September. I had planned what I was going to wear for so long and I was so happy with it that I thought I would share it with you all.

My dress was by Little Mistress by Look Magazine, my shoes were by from asos, my red clutch from Coast and my fur jacket from Topshop and of course I wore my my Ruby Woo lipstick by MAC. My nails were my own but simply painted with gel polish.

I would love to hear everyones opinions and suggestions for this outfit so leave a comment for me!
